Complete ZTW 7x7 for sale

Postby radiocontrolhead » Sun Nov 06, 2011 8:53 pm

I am selling my complete ZTW 7x7 mill. I bought the mill to learn the basics of CNC and it was a great machine for that. I am now considering a larger machine capable of machining harder materials. The mill is complete and is ready to run. The stepper motors have soldered connectors for easy connect/disconnect to driver board. spindle motor and driver board power supply are also equipped with soldered connectors for easy setup. The mill is literally ready to be hooked up and run, just need software and calibration. No soldering or having to figure out what needs to connect to what, all of that has been figured out for you. the mill was never altered in anyway and is complete and has all factory parts.

The package contains the following items:

Zen Toolworks CNC DIY KIT 7x7 (includes extra roller bearings and worktable)
Spindle Power supply (32 volt) and Spindle on/off Switch
3 Axis Stepper Motor Driver Board (offered by ZTW)
12VDC Power Supply (8.5A):
Zen Spindle kit with upgraded drill chuck (genuine Jacobs chuck; runout of about 0.001)
Mushroom Emergency Stop Switch
Parallel Cable D25, Male/Male

i can easily snap photos per request of anything you are interested in. I am asking 600 shipped

Hey There!

I'm interested! Any problems, damage, cracks, loose joints, etc.?
Table damage? Discoloration?

Extra bearings and a table are included, but are there problems with the installed items that they "need" to be changed?

I have been considering one for a year or so, but have doubts regarding the plastic construction. Were you happy with it? Will it route pcb's?
In your opinion, is the Z axis strong enough to reconfigure for a Dremel tool?
I know it won't cut everything, but will it cut most plastics?

Thanks, I know that is a lot of questions, but $600 isn't easy for me to come by.

Would PayPal work for you?

Best Regards,
Dave

Dave,

This machine is more than capable of milling pcbs. In fact, i think it's almost an ideal machine for that. Once it has been calibrated, you'll be all set. It will cut plastics very nicely, in fact, it cuts plastics like a hot knife through butter. The spindle that this mill comes with is a great spindle to use on the machine, dont see why you'd want to run a dremel. I've received and replied to your pm as well.
