Pendant and Electronics Enclosure

With the latest release of GRBL, they added homing as well as pinouts for Cycle Start, Feed Hold and a Soft Reset. Since I didnt even have my limit switches hooked up, I took this as an opportunity to make some serious headway in cleaning up my work space.

My work just went through and cleaned out all of our "old" backup power supply units and was just going to scrap the steel frames!!!! So, I kept one (with permission) along with a ton of other junk that I hope i will use someday...

To house my EStop button as well as my Feed hold, Cycle Start and Reset buttons, I used an Aluminum Enclosure from Sparkfun (public wishlist coming soon!!) as well as a few nick nacks from Radio Shack (Ive honestly come to despise that place). The pendant is connected to the Ardunino via a serial cable and works EXCELLENT! This is probably one of the most useful project I have ever done.

The (2) switches up top are for future use. One will be air (purchased a blower from Sparkfun) the other will be a work light.

Next project: build an enclosure for the Zen.
