Small brass bit...

Postby jblakey » Thu Jun 13, 2013 1:47 pm

Hi Guys,

since it seems a bit dead around here, I thought I'd post up a pic or two of the seppa (sword handle washer for katana) I cut from .032 brass using my Zen, and .6 mm endmill.

Came out great, with about a 15% stepdown. Max RPMs, slow feed.

And yes, I still need to take the time to level my table:)

Xin, would it be possible to up the file size limit for this forum? 256 KB is really too small for nice pictures.

I forgot there was a file size limit - I usually just put in an image link to a flickr hosted photo. Nice neat job on the brass!

Looks really nice. Yeah, does seem a bit dead since one of my projects is #3 on the list of posts!

I've been busy with some non-CNC projects, so unfortunately I haven't been on here too much. I've got some ideas that I've been kicking around that may require my CNC router to start cutting again. Hopefully it will boot up with no problems!
