I just received my new ZTW machine. Have to say that I am very new to all this CNC stuff, so I am learning...
I almost finished building the mechanical part of the machine but wanted to double check with you guys. Actually following the pictures in the wiki to build the machine went quite well. Maybe too well and that's why I would like your advice. Every single step/part of the machine fitted perfectly during the build. Now, I am almost finished and there is one part that doesn't fit?!
I can't figure out if I did something wrong or if the part really doesn't fit.
The plate in the front can't be positioned correctly as the two parts can't come closer to each other. I don't know what is the name of the gold colored part (anti-backslash nut?) on the thread, but isn't that supposed to glide into the big whole? Is the whole (see arrow) too small? Or is the diameter of the anti-backslash nut bigger?
I guess making the whole a little bigger would eventually fix the problem, but I just want to be sure as all the other parts perfectly fitted...
Thank you, BW.
