Success with PCI Parallel Port on Mach3

Postby jscook55 » Tue Jul 10, 2012 10:04 pm

So good news for those of you that would like to use a parallel port-less PC. Probably someone has done this before, but I posted instructions for how to set up Mach3 to run off of a PCI parallel port: http://www.jcopro.net/2012/07/10/use-a-pci-parallel-port-with-a-tb6560-cnc-control-board/. I've only tested it jogging the axes around so far, but it looks good. Will update when I get a chance to use it a bit more! :D

So just to update, this PCI parallel port does work quite well after some time!
