CNC laser light painting

I've done some similar paintings before http://www.jcopro.net/2012/02/10/cnc-light-painting-vast-improvement-using-a-remote-trigger/, but I decided to hook up a laser and use my Zen Router to project images onto, in this case, a car: http://www.jcopro.net/2012/11/28/cnc-laser-light-painting/

Haven't worked out everything yet, like how to turn it off during spaces (had it set up correctly in the first post, but have yet to implement it in the laser setup. Also, the image is mirrored, but this could be corrected if necessary.

As a bit of a follow-up, I've started instead using hobby servos to do something similar as as explained here: http://www.jcopro.net/2013/01/30/servo-light-graffiti-pixel-painting-an-image/ - results have been pretty good, but, as with most of my projects, it's still a work in progress.

No ZTW on this one, but maybe it could be termed "ZTW inspired."
