Dog Cutout

Postby rawkstar320 » Sat Jan 26, 2013 10:49 am

Hey everyone, I wanted to share a dog cutout I did last weekend. I cut it out of 3/4" pine (I think it was 1" nominal thickness) then painted with some paint I got at walmart in the "Screwed Up" section. I didn't paint them elaborately because my wife needed to write body parts/axis labels on them for VetTec classes, but you could cut these out of thinner, nicer wood and have some really cool silhouette dogs!

A note on the G-Code file: The GCode file was generated for material 0.770" thick, using a 1/8" endmill. 12 in/min feedrate. The final dog is approximately 4" long.
